A key feature of NLC's programmatic and operational strategy is to build strategic alliances with a core set of partners who are already engaged in work that contributes to family economic success. With the exception of workforce development – where NLC will build its on internal capacity – our intent is to leverage the experience and expertise of partner organizations by facilitating their connection to the Latino population. Our initial partners will be Empower New Haven (ENH), the WIA One-Stop , and Gateway Community College – the latter two who already provide employment and training services. As we develop the organization, NLC expects to engage additional service-providing partners (described below) and provide them opportunities to co-locate staff at NLC.
